All Stars Cricket Returns to Swindon CC

Daniel Harris26 Feb 2019 - 20:07

Cricket for boys and girls from 5-8 years

We are delighted to announce that 'All Stars Cricket' is returning to Swindon CC in 2019, with Andy, our 'All Stars Champion' at the helm for the third year of this hugely successful programme.

What is All Stars Cricket?
All Stars Cricket provides boys and girls from 5-8 years old with 8 weeks of non-stop fun. It is promoted by the England Cricket Board and is an activity and game based programme. It is suitable for all skill levels and requires no specialist kit, providing your child with the foundations to begin a lifelong love of physical activity and cricket, while making friends in a safe and enjoyable environment.

When is it?
Our All Stars programme this year will be running on Sunday mornings from 11am to 11.45am, starting Sunday 12th May for eight weeks. We found the 2017 Sunday sessions were better attended than the 2018 Friday evenings, so hopefully the switch will work for you all.

How much is it?
All Stars is again just £40.00! An absolute bargain, especially as it includes the 8 week programme and a personalised kit bag for every player!

Sounds great, how do I sign up?

We look forward to seeing you all there, with parents actively encouraged to help at these sessions, it is fun for all the family.

If you attended All Stars sessions in previous years and feel your child has grown out of All Stars and is ready to move on to softball under-9 cricket then that is also available at SCC, running on Friday evenings from 6pm. That takes them on to learning the basic techniques of cricket and normally is mostly 'Year 4' age children as it requires a longer attention span than All Stars! Please contact us through the links on this website for more details.
