As you hopefully have seen, Swindon CC are off to the Home of Cricket, Lords on Sunday March 29th as part of the National Indoor Cricket Finals Day. After qualifying on Saturday (report HERE), information has now started to filter through about the day and logistics.

We would love to see as many people come and support the club and include all of the relevant details below.

Date: Sunday 29th March
Location: Lords Cricket Ground Indoor Centre, London
Time: Indoor school open from 10:00. Swindon's semi-final starts at 11:00.

Fixtures: 11:00 Semi Final 1 – Swindon CC (Wiltshire) v Neyland CC (Wales)
12:45 Semi Final 2 – Broadstairs CC (Kent) v Woodlands CC (Yorkshire)
14:45 National Final
16:15 Presentations and Reception

The reception will take place in the Cricket Academy and is for all players and supporters, with food laid on for all. Please note that Lords is currently undergoing a lot of construction work, so access to the wider site/ground/pavilion will be extremely limited.

Supporting
We are keen to see as many supporters at Lords as possible. The ECB has confirmed that there is no limit on supporters and that the Lords Indoor School has a large viewing gallery.

Due to the current health situation SCC would advise travelling supporters to arrange their own transport arrangements - whether that be train or car share. Please note that the players are travelling the day before as part of an invitation extended by the ECB.

There will undoubtedly be a number of people from the club wanting to go, so if you wish to travel but are struggling to 'buddy up' with some like minded people please use the clubs whatsapp group to arrange this. If you are not in this group please message your mobile number and name to swindoncricketclub@gmail.com for access.

Parking
There will be no parking in the ground for supporters, so please look at alternatives in the local area or use an app such as 'just park' to rent a space nearby.

Access to Lords
Access is via the North Gate only.
