Zac is a young, ambitious top order batsman and wicket-keeper from Canberra, Australia, who has this year been playing his cricket out of Sydney at the famous Randwick Petersham Cricket Club – a club renowned for churning out international stars. Zac has also represented the ACT Under 19s side and spent last summer playing in Ireland where he impressed in the Cricket Ireland Future series. Please join us in welcoming him to SCC.

Those involved with bringing Zac to the club have been impressed by his attitude, maturity and willingness to be a part of club life at SCC. He is keen to hit the ground running and has some ambitious goals for the season ahead. Once Zac arrives in late April members will see him across the club as a player, involved in senior coaching, and as part of the pool of youth coaches on Friday nights. He will also be working alongside head coach Wayne delivering high quality 1-2-1 coaching and small group coaching for those looking to develop their game further.

Alongside Zac, we have also had a busy winter through the teams with players choosing SCC for 2023 – we must be doing something right! This includes returning players, players joining the senior ranks and new players, such as: last seasons WCCL Div 1 top wicket taker Rakesh Donthi, hard hitting young allrounder Louis Weaver, slippery left arm quick Dilawar Mangal, seasoned explosive batter Paresh Porobo, ambitious keeper/bat Prudhvi Reddymalla, the Khan family with Dad returning and his son following in his footsteps and many more.
